What’s for me…will be for me….

So a funny thing happened to me on my way to sleep tonight…I was going about my nightly routine…running my mouth (or fingers…ahh text messaging)…messing with #1 and making my Facebook rounds (that’s like a legal addiction for me). As I was texting I noticed that I had an email notification. So I do me…I’m talking on one phone, texting on another and checking my email simultaneously (ooh yeah…i’m great at multi-tasking) and I see there is a pending comment here on the blog. While I have completed several blogs, I haven’t “officially” posted a blog since May…so it peaked my interest. This particular reader asked if it was okay to share my post on FB. Me…hecks I don’t care. I write for others (okay and myself too). I decided to actually read the blog she commented on and this post was right on time. See there are a few things that I just simply don’t believe in…one is irony and the second is coincidence. Lately, I have been overwhelmed by one single statement, “what is for me, will be for me”…regardless of my personal good, bad or indifferent feelings about it.

“What is for me, will be for me”…one can take much from this statement. I was sitting trying to figure out how this statement applies to the older post all the way from May…hmmm…intially it wasn’t a coorelation between the two. I assume because my scanning of the blog was strictly surface in nature. Kinda like when you tell your child to go find something and they just glance across the room…opposed to digging and moving things around. On one hand I have “what’s for me…” and in the other hand a post about single men and women…it’s not clicking…then all of a sudden BOOM…I GOT IT!  It seems as if I do the bulk of my writing when I am very high…or very low. There is no median…right now I’m standing smack in the middle of a storm with no umbrella…barefoot…and no shelter around. Everything is about order. Order…order…order. Yes…what’s for me…will be for me…but it has to been in order. Even dysfunction has order. You probably saying…that absolutely makes no sense. Real talk…it makes perfect sense. What I know is that dysfunction is a tool utilized by the enemy…BUT he does it in an orderly fashion. Watch this…do you know that dysfunction has no authority in your life unless it gets permission from God first. Yeah…that’s right…even the enemy goes to get permission before he does anything.  Ask Job…

Job 1:8-12…

8 Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” 9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.” 12 The LORD said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the LORD.

See here not only does God suggest Job to the enemy (verse 8)…He gives the enemy dominion over everything that Job has EXCEPT for his soul (verse 12)….okay…maybe I’m getting to amped off this myself…let me get this right…God tells satan to do whatever he wants to Job except touch his soul…and it is okay??? WOW!!!…we wonder why we go through what we go through…it’s not because you’ve made this terrible life decision (look…Job was an upright man)…it’s because God wants you at a specific place at a specific time. “what is for me…will be for me!” He allows trials and tribulation to radiate throughout our lives to mold us to the children that He wants us to be…to give Him the Glory…okay…maybe I done went somewhere else with this…but I know you understand.

So all you’re going through is just a test…don’t beat yourself up…don’t rain on your own parade. Take it like a champ and press forward with the Armour of God.

Dysfunctional situations actually produces a functional lifestyle…ONLY if everything is orderly. If not…dysfunctional situations produces desertly consequences.  At the end of the day people…”what is for you…will be for you”….
