Please allow me to introduce myself….
….my name is David (got that introduce myself from Jay-Z), but some call me D, others call me Dew, but the ones that I love the most call me Daddy (that is my children of course). Feel free to call me by any name. This is my first initial post so I guess you can compare it to sex (I’m talking about married sex). I mean the first time you are not as good, but as you continue you get better. Okay maybe that wasn’t the most politically correct analogy and I apologize, but it was the only thing that I could think of off hand to get your attention.
Actually I want to start of by telling you a little about myself and as the days go on I’ll reveal things on a…lets say an as needed basis. Well you know my name, so lets quit the small talk. Off subject…when you first meet a person and you have the proverbial “small talk” doesn’t that get on your nerves. To me it is rather annoying….the “how are you’s” and the “how’s the weather” or better yet “what you doing’s”. You know good and dang on well more than likely you can care less about any or probably all three of those things. Okay…sorry back on course now. I have two beautiful children, ages 11 and 9, with my daughter being the latter. Might as well say 12 and 10 because they have birthday’s coming up SOON three weeks apart RIGHT before the start of school…so can you say BROKE!!!
I live in Ohio (yeah yuk), but it is cool. I’m a Christian (but sometimes you can’t tell hahahaha just joking). I’m a double major (Middle Childhood Education and Business Management). I’m working towards both bachelor’s now and going straight through to an accelerated master’s program, eventually obtaining my doctorate. My goal is to be completely done with all of this in the next 3 years (well not the doctorate part). It shouldn’t be hard, I am a extremely driven person. I LOVE sports. I can watch anything but NASCAR. I’m just not into watching cats make a grip of left hand turns around a ginormous oval really fast. If I want to see that, I’ll just look out my window down I-75. Anything Ohio State Buckeyes or the Dallas Cowboys is cool…those are my teams I follow. I also follow the Boston Celtics (and no I’m not a bangwagon jumper), been a C’s fan since the 80’s. My biological dad was a C’s fan, so it naturally rubbed off. Professional wise, I am a Logistics Manager (BORING).
I’m going to cut this one short ladies and gents….today was actually the first day of class for the summer term and I need to be productive…aww check this out first…okay, I’m taking Algebra, English and two other garbage courses this summer. Well I thought I had English today. Hold on, this might take a little longer than I thought….sorry…but I get off of work at 5p right, class starts at 6p. In an ideal world that is cool, seeing that my school is only about 10 mins away from my job. I never know with the nature of my business, sometimes I have to stay late, it just depends on the workload for that day and some other silly variables…anywho, I have this bright idea to take my school clothes to work with me. As time goes on ya’ll will learn that I am a SHOPAHOLIC. I love clothes, shoes and fitted hats. So me thinking I have English today I grabbed my English book…I guess I was having a Bertha moment (that means out to lunch, trippin)…you learn down the line what Bertha means…anywho I was lunchin’. I get to work and look at my schedule and see that I have Math today…Man, I was like Florida Evans…(damn damn damn). Okay, so long story short, I slid out of work a few minutes early to go back to the house and get the right book. I rush ALL the way back in order to get to class on time….and the mug is cancelled today…boy ain’t that a (insert your own adjective here)….
Well everything is copastatic though, because if I would have went to class I wouldn’t be talking to ya’ll now….until we talk again….be blessed
